Whats the deal with Internet Marketing?

I have read a few articles lately that are pushing out the boat and moaning about marketers giving falls advertising to there customers.

What am I talking about?

Many advertisers will go a little bit over board with there advertising, you will see adverts about a get rich quick eBook that claims to start making you money within the next few weeks of buying it...

Now many that are in the field believe this to be an over statement and hate to see innocent people get ripped off with out knowing the full truth about the matter. But are they really getting ripped off?

This is the big question many are asking each other, what is classed of falls information to just giving over rated information.

If I say that I earn $1.000 a day and in fact I don't and use that amount to sell my product then I am giving out falls information to help boost my product. Now If I say that I dropped out of school and made over $1.000 a day using techniques which I am selling in my eBook and I am telling the truth then what is falls about that?

Ok maybe if it is true that I could earn $1.000 a day but selling that in my sales pitch can lead to bad results... Why?

Well what happens when the passer buy checks out this ad and buys the product to find out that your methods are not that easy has you made them out to be. I feel that it comes down to this, are you lying? No? Then what is the problem?

Many feel that giving falls hopes to just get some ones cash is wrong, but many feel that they are just earning a living giving away information that if used correctly can create the user a nice income.

Now it all boils down to what kind of person you really are, an honest person that don't mind losing a few sales for telling the truth. A person that is not lying but makes your statement a tad over rated then it really is. Or a person that will lie to get the cash out of the other persons hand...

Whatever type of person you are it's down to the user to spot that type. Like I always say, treat people like you want to be treated and all things will be sweet.

Sports MarketingCompanies are choosing it. by RiccardoTafa' - Find out why more and more

Passion for sport is constantly growing, both in terms of numbers of fans, and numbers of active participants. At times of big international sports events such as the Olympics or the World Cup, it is easy to see how the number of companies that decide to allocate their advertising budgets to sports sponsorship or other sport-related activities increases. Advertising agencies themselves often pin their strategies on a sense of sporting spirit in order to enhance the appeal of the message conveyed.

RTR believes that the strength of sports marketing lies precisely in its capacity to leverage the passion that consumers nurture towards sport. Sponsorship is not merely a question of appearing with one's logo on a competitor's shirt or on the advertising hoardings at an event. Above all, it means projecting the specific values of the sport onto the company and its brands and ensuring that this association registers with the target group in question.

Sport is an extremely flexible tool, as it allows businesses and advertising agencies to communicate with different types of target and to put together modular campaigns that can be shaped according to the specific requirements of the sponsor. It is also an effective medium because it permits actions to be measured on a case-by-case basis and to transform the activity into promotional campaigns whose purpose is to leave their mark on different types of public, off the field of play as well as on it.

Yet this is not all: sport is one of the few tools which, as well as ensuring repeatability and continuity, offers the opportunity to engage in co-marketing, B2B and public relations ventures, the relevance of which is stressed by all advertising agencies.

The tradition of sports marketing shows how, until now, throughout the entire sponsorship world, two different models have been applied. The first is the classic model, in which the sponsor purchases a package that has already been devised and is only involved in the final stages of the event. Another model, which is certainly more current, is the one in which the sponsor plays an active role in the creation of the event, taking part in the planning stages and fashioning it around its own goals and values. The latter model, if it is coordinated effectively by a competent advertising agency, is without doubt the best, as it allows event-moments to be crafted that are rich in meaning for the consumer.

The prevailing trend, then, is to move away from the "Buy" model - mere sponsorship of an event - to the "Create" model - the creation of an event. For each sponsorship project RTR carries out an analysis of the market and of current trends at an international level. What is emerging at the present time is the fact that the state of the art is moving towards a model that is different yet again, a model that we might define as the "Create and Manage" model, in which not only is the event created, but all activities pertaining to it are managed too.

It is clear, then, that when operating in this kind of universe, it is necessary to turn to organisations which are in possession of an extremely high level of expertise, which are perfectly familiar with the rules and which are able to maximise the returns obtained from a sports marketing campaign through the total management of a carefully crafted sponsorship campaign. In short, the advertising agencies to which companies turn must be able to deal with the most disparate requirements by offering an all-round service.

RTR's approach is to pursue this direction, which maximises the capacity of the events that are devised or sponsored to capture their audiences. This is possible through careful monitoring of media coverage, an extension of the timescale of the event that enables the pre- and post-event stages to be lived and, still further, through the creation of a community that garners consumer loyalty and engenders a sense of belonging.

In this context, the role of the
advertising agency as consultant becomes fundamental. We at RTR have 10 years of experience in dealing with the market in this field and an international portfolio of clients, and we are confident of our ability to provide made-to-measure services for those who intend to use sport as a communication tool to reach the relevant markets in a targeted manner.

It's time for MySpace secrets!

Ok it's come to my attention that there are many people in the IM industry that have no clue on how to get a boost of "FREE" traffic to there web site without using crummy traffic exchange sites or PPC sites.

What can you do with MySpace?

Ok many look at MySpace and see just a friendly looking community web site. But you have to take into consideration on how big this community really is! Now I do wish there was a button that sent all my ads out to every 80million! Thats right 80! Million users with a push of a button.

Sadly this aint the case, but it is possible to start building up a friends list that can be used to pump your adverts to every now and again. Now the key here is to not get to carried away and start spamming the bulletin boards and to get your self reported to MySpace.

Take it easy, learn to advertise without sounding to pushy. Yeah you might have a great deal but people on MySpace are not using MySpace to find great deals on any product what so ever.

How do you sell your self on MySpace?

This is the key to using MySpace, many use the same old tactics that they learned in that $5 marking ebook. Scrap that now! You are about to advertise on a community driven web site where most will report your arse if they feel that you are trying to get them to buy your product!

I won't lie, I have had many accounts deleted on MySpace, some with high friends list which can really hurt you bad if you have put a lot of work into it. Take your time when writing your profile. Read every word that you write and make sure you are giving out advice or that you are giving out a case studie on what you have done so far in Internet Marketing (Thats if you pick IM has your subject) let me give you a prime example on what I mean.

My web site: www.flashgamesuk.com
Site Content: Flash games that you can play for free
Adverts: Google AdSense

Ok we have a site, already designed, ready to rock! How do I get people in MySpace to see my site? Firstly check out the groups! Search for games and you will find plenty of groups related to this subject. Now find one with the highest amount of users. The one I picked had over 30.000 people sign up!

NOTE: Always make sure you read the group rules, groups are like forums and forums have rules! Don't piss people of with adverts like this "Hey check out my cool site! URL HERE" because all you will do is create anger!

Instead read the rules and if it says no advertising then watch your back! I noramly make a post in the group something like this:

Message:
Hi all,

Sorry if I am breaking the rules here but I really wanted to let you guys know about a free gaming site that I own which hosts free flash games.

(URL HERE)

Hope this is ok to post on there, but if it aint then I appologise. It's totaly free to use my site and wanted to let you guys know about it and could not find a better place then here.

End of message.

Now I posted something like this in the games forum and you know what happend? I got told that my post was cool and it was fine! Thats right I managed to get my Adsense driven web site posted on a group that has gotten over 30.000 members!

So thats how you get targeted traffic for free to your web site using MySpace.com and you don't even need a massive friends list to do it. Just wait after 7 days of creating your account and you will be able to join and post messages on related groups to your web site.

Good luck and watch out for more posts on how to market on MySpace and how not to get your self banned!

How To Create a Flash Games Site

If you are like me and like to use AdSense has a source of revenue from your sites then finding that perfect niche is going to be a key part. A gaming site dedicated to free flash games is a perfect start to creating money from your site.

What is a flash games site? You have come across one in your travels on the web. They are web sites with small flash games built in. All the games are free and can be used on other peoples web sites if they have the right tools.

Before creating a flash site you better make sure that you have permission to use other peoples content on your site. Now unless you design your own games then you are going to have to find some games to put onto your web site.

The best way to do this is to use a flash grabber software which will grab flash games off other peoples web sites and allows you to save them has .swf. This can then be placed into your web site which you design in a html editor of your choice.

Design the layout so your adsense is in a perfect persition and that you dont have to keep changing 1000s of pages to suite your needs. Make sure that your site layout is perfect before adding any content or pages. I cant stress how many times I have to get this across to people. You are heading for a lot of work if you dont do this, many fail to get everything hundred percent finished with the layout due to rushing and over excited about there website going live. Take your time and make sure you are confident that you have done the best of your abilitys to get the site ready.

If that is done then create pages and add every game into that page. Make an index for each game topic and link the game pages to each hyperlink within that topic.

Upload your site to a web host and a dedicated domain and you are now set. Don't forget to sort out your SEO or your site is going to rank buttom of the pile.

Use MySpace to promote your website, I find gaming sites is a good topic in MySpace and people flood to them.

Hope this helps

Gary

Highly recommend reading this book before using Adwords!

Hi all

Me again that crazy IM guy that goes on about making big bucks! What have I got to say today? Well let's talk about Adwords... NO? Why not?... It scares you? Why? Because it eats your credit cards? ooohhh!

Don't threat people, a nice guy called Chris (Who will not give out his surname...) has given me the chance to read through his latest product "Adwords Miracle Guide". I am like many that saw adwords and thought "Wow time to earn some big buckaroonys!" To find that it just eat away at my credit card and laughed at me behind my back... Whos fault is this? GOOGLES!! No only joking, this was down to me and my novices approach to Adwords.

Adwords though can be used to earn thousands of pounds a week if you use it correctly. After reading this guide I was shocked at how many things I had not done before setting up a campaign. You would be amazed at how stupid some of the mistakes are that most people do too.

When I started reading the book I was like, "Gah get to the good part" but after an hours fight with my self I made my self read every damm word just to make sure I knew what I had to do.

Ok I had follow chris advice and jumped into my Google Adwords account (Just like you would with your non roof top car!) I started up my campaign following chrises advice and waited for the horror train to start sucking my hard earned cash away.

Did that train come? You bet your ass is didnt... haha! Got ya there, nope I was shocked to find that Chris knew what he was talking about. His wisdom started getting my click-throughs which started to convert after around 100 clicks. And what was the best part?

My CTR was very high, over 44% and I was payi silly amounts for my keywords, now let me give you a tiny piece of information chris gives in his book which explains so much about Adwords and CTR.

CTR is a key part in your campaign. If you are not getting high CTR then that horror train will come and lick your credit card like a lollypop (Shocking! I know!) To make it simple and to not complicate things I lay it down straight. High CTR = Low charge on your keywords (Meaning you pay less per a click on each word) Low CTR = High charge on your keywords (Again this means that your keywords will rise in price if your CTR does not improve.)

There, gave you a small tiny sample of what "Adwords Miracle Guide" will give you, trust me on this that there is plenty more to learn.

He shows you so many different methods on how to get good click through rates to targeted traffic and to gain a nice high CTR to cut costs.

I'd recommend this ebook any day, if you want to start earning a living online then get this ebook now before prices go up! Believe me, if your scared at using Adwords don't be! Chris is a very experienced Marketer and knows what he is talking about.

I thank you chris for the free copy! I hope you make many sales from this product.
